UNDP Ukraine has completed the sixth and final module of an intensive leadership programme for business association leaders, delivered in partnership with the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School

Since October 2025, more than 30 leaders representing a network of over 350 business associations from across Ukraine have been working to strengthen their organisations' capacity to advocate for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, develop services for their members, and shape economic decision-making at the national level.

Across six modules, participants engaged with systems thinking, strategic management, business analytics, change management and the design of collective services — building a shared framework for more coordinated, strategic and results-driven action.

Capable business associations are the voice of entrepreneurs in dialogue with government. They translate the needs of small and medium-sized businesses into concrete proposals and bring them to those who make decisions — creating the conditions for economic policy that actually works. In Ukraine, where the quality of such decisions shapes the path to recovery, this matters more than ever.

The programme was organised by UNDP Ukraine in partnership with the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School, under the project “Strengthening of SME Business Membership Organisations in Ukraine”, with the support of Switzerland.
